In a significant move to streamline the litigation process under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime, the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) has released Version 2.6 of its e-Filing Portal User Manual. This manual provides step-by-step guidance to taxpayers, tax officials, and legal representatives for filing appeals, applications, and cross objections through a digitized and user-friendly interface.

The updated portal introduces a structured and simplified workflow for new user registrations based on different user types—Taxpayer, Tax Official, or Authorized Representative. The system auto-fetches user details from the GSTIN and verifies identity through OTP, ensuring accuracy and security. Once registered, users receive login credentials via email and mobile, granting access to their personalized dashboard.
